Our view of Jim taking off from HNL from our balcony!

Monday 12/2/24

Chris was kind enough to do all the driving in our rented 15 passenger "bus". Rob helped out my renting a 7- passenger van. The family loaded into the "bus" with Jim's face riding shotgun. Off they went to the USS Arizona Memorial.

Tonight, the family went to the Ka Moana Luau! They were in the front row and had a fabulous time!

Tuesday 12/3/24

The family enjoyed a great day at the beach at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

Jim returned from Atlanta today. Thanks to FO Patrick, great video of his landing in HNL.

We had the whole family at dinner at Akasaka Japanese Restaurant with his 2 first officers, Dave Stanek and Patrick Mills and 3 flight attendants Anita Baker, Bonnie Caldwell and Susan Fernandez.

Wednesday 12/4/24

Our flight 309 HNL to ATL departed Honolulu at 5:00pm and landed in ATL at 6:38am on 12/5/24. The gate agent was so sweet and let me on early while the flight attendants were preparing the cabin.

I love the poster that I displayed!

FO Patrick took some special pictures for us!

My last official picture on Jim's lap in the cockpit!

Everyone got to get pictures in the cockpit with Jim! Alison forgot to get one with her!

His final PA. I thought I was recording from the beginning but apparently not. Recordings others got are on the youtube channel.

FO Patrick arranged for his friend to take video of his final take-off from HNL.

Audio with the tower congratulating Jim on his retirement!

Jim and I sneaked in a selfie when he was coming back from his break in the middle of the flight!
